When Claire storms out, Laoghaire attempts to shoot her, but wounds Jamie. Claire is forced to tend to him, and they start to repair their rift. To pay off Laoghaire to leave them be, Jamie, Claire, and Young Ian search for the treasure previously found by Jamie in his escape from Adsmuir, but Young Ian gets kidnapped by a mysterious ship.

Though Fergus and Young Ian are successful in offloading Jamie’s alcohol stash, the print shop is broken into with Young Ian there, and a fire starts in a skirmish between the two men. Jamie manages to make it back to the print shop in time to save Young Ian.
